My mission
"I bring calm, curiosity and structure to moments of change,
helping leaders think clearly, reconnect with what matters,
and move forward with confidence."
About me

I am a Dutch-born executive coach and CIO advisor, shaped by an international career and life across Europe. Having lived and worked in the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom, my perspective is both practical and multicultural.

My professional journey began in technology leadership, where I served as CIO and transformation leader in complex, federated organisations. Over time, I became increasingly interested not only in strategy and operating models, but in the human side of leadership — clarity, perspective, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to navigate complexity with calmness.

Today, I combine that experience as a former CIO with my work as a certified Executive Coach. I support senior leaders in thinking more clearly, leading more intentionally and moving forward with confidence — whether through advisory work, coaching, or a combination of both.
“Le Vélo” is French for “the bicycle.”

The name reflects both my Dutch roots, where cycling is part of everyday life, and my French connection, through my wife and living in Paris for several years. But it also represents something deeper about leadership and growth.
When you first learn to ride a bike, you tend to look directly at the ground in front of you. And when you do that, you wobble. The breakthrough comes when you lift your eyes and look further ahead. Your balance improves. The movement becomes smoother. You gain confidence. Once you are steady, you can begin to appreciate the surroundings; and the bike can take you almost anywhere.

Le Velo - Advisory & Coaching is built on that philosophy.
In both coaching and CIO advisory work, I help leaders lift their gaze, beyond immediate pressures, noise and short-term reactions, so they can find balance, clarity and forward momentum. With the right focus and perspective, complexity becomes navigable, and progress becomes sustainable.

Whether guiding strategic technology decisions or supporting personal leadership development, the aim is the same: to create balance, enable momentum, and help leaders move confidently toward where they want to go.
